VISION
KJ Peterson Consulting (KJPC) acknowledges that an urgent, global ecological crisis exists, of which climate change and massive biodiversity loss are just a part. We believe that strategic environmental restoration actions on a landscape scale are key to effectively addressing this crisis.
Our vision for the future is a collaborative, well-aligned, integrated network of multi-agency partners in California working together to slow, halt, or even reverse where possible climate change effects and biodiversity loss across multiple priority landscapes. We envision KJPC as being an integral part of this network, by "creating environments for change" through project coordination, strategic planning, and facilitation services.
MISSION
Our mission, using reliable and established processes, is to provide our clients with the necessary tools to collaborate, design, and implement solutions that halt, reverse, and prevent environmental degradation, reinforce ecosystem resilience, and contribute to healthy communities.
We use our facilitation skills to create meeting environments for our clients that encourage inclusive, results-oriented conversations.
We employ classic strategic planning methods to create inspiring environments for our clients to engage in both visionary thinking and pragmatic action planning.
We apply our project coordination knowledge and experience to create collaborative environments for our clients and their partners to plan and implement effective ecological restoration projects.
